My Little World

Did you ever know the Snowshoe Hare can have four babies at a time? Did you ever know it can see and hear well? It is white which helps it camouflage in the now. Its fur is (mostly) white with brown and grey. Its tail is shaped like a cotton ball. Did you ever know that they are 40 centimeters long which is as long as my arm? And did you ever know that they weigh one or two kilograms which is about the same as six bananas? They get a little scared when people go close to them and they hop away. If you want to get close to a Snowshe Hare in the snow, you have to be very quiet and slow. They are softer than a feather. They are lighter than a newborn baby.
